Louise Hsu works in the field of contemporary art. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. She has been involved in international art events such as the Taipei Biennial, Taiwan (2008) and the Animamix Biennial at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei (MOCA) (2010). In 2010, she joined the exhibition department at MOCA and has curated exhibitions for MOCA Studio and MOCA Plaza, in addition to developing the museum’s art magazine, MOCA Monthly. Her interest in video art led her to establish the Video Art Exhibition Series, which is held at MOCA Plaza and showcases an array of media art, including video, animation and interactive digital work. Since 2010 MOCA has hosted eight series of the Video Art Exhibition involving 48 national and international artists. Since 2013 Louise Hsu has established the independent art center, Artstream International, which dedicates itself to developing international programs of art and culture.
